Our Impact
Here at Voice for Values, we are dedicated to empowering voters who are ignored by campaigns and political parties.
How do we do this?
In 2025, we are launching our Rural Revival Plan, designed to engage and empower the rural voters that most national campaigns overlook. We are adopting 3 rural districts where we will:
-
Register likely progressive voters.
-
Hire organizers from our target districts to engage with their fellow community members in a meaningful and positive way.
-
Turn out as many new or inactive voters as possible in 2026.
Our Work in 2024
Women's Reproductive Rights In Ohio & Arizona
In November 2023, Voice for Values worked in overtime to ensure that Ohio's Issue 1 passed and secured abortion access for all Ohioans. We texted over 20,000 voters in underperforming districts and reminded them to check their registration, get their friends out, and most importantly VOTE!

Then, in 2024, we sent out texts to thousands of pro-choice Arizonans directing them to get trained to collect petition signatures for the Arizonans for Abortion Access Initiative. After receiving more than half a million verified signatures, the initiative made it in front our Arizona voters.

Both, Ohio Issue 1 and the Arizonans for Abortion Access passed with flying colors and we were so proud to be able to step in and show up in the moments when our voices needed to be heard the most.
Registering New Voters in Arizona, Michigan, & Pennsylvania
In early 2024, we began working with Civitech, an award winning voter registration firm, to identify likely progressive voters in the key swing states of Arizona, Michigan, & Pennsylvania who were not yet registered to vote. We identified:

-
Arizona: 32,544 unregistered, likely progressive voters.
-
Michigan: 25,493 unregistered, likely progressive voters
-
Pennsylvania: 39,375 unregistered, likely progressive voters.

In June of 2024, we launched a targeted text campaign to reach these voters and direct them to their state's online voter registration system. After 5 rounds of texting to each state we successfully registered:

-
7,711 new voters in Arizona (24%)
-
5,042 new voters in Michigan (19%)
-
8,932 new voters in Pennsylvania (23%)

After fall voter registration deadlines passed, we switched gears and started contacting these voters to get them out to the polls. After 3 additional rounds of texts to these new voters we turned out:

-
78.4% of new voters in Arizona
-
70.3% of new voters in Michigan
-
80.5% of new voters in Pennsylvania.

We are so proud of the work we did last year to help folks make their voices heard, and we plan to build on this success in 2025 with our Rural Revival Plan.
