About Us

About Us:

Voice for Values was founded in 2023 to heal political division and refocus our  public discourse on what really matters: the issues. We believe that ethical leadership matters in government. For this reason we strive to elect talented people who will make real change and empower voters to hold them accountable once they are in office.

Our Founder

Our Founder:

Judy Stahl is a proud Arizonan and champion for pro-democracy causes across the country. A small business owner and mother, Judy ran for office twice in Yavapai County to improve the lives of all of our families. These included a run for Congress to unseat MAGA Republican Paul Gosar. As a result of Judy’s campaigns, Democratic vote share was increased to a point where it was possible to elect Joe Biden in Arizona in 2020, and top ticket Democrats like AZ Governor Katie Hobbs and AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes in 2022. Judy's strong voice and political successes inspired her to start Voice for Values. She will never stop standing up and speaking up for our shared American values.

Our mission is to support courageous government leaders, promote common sense public policies, and empower voters to take decisive action for positive change.

Our Mission

Our Values

Empowering Voters:

We believe the health of our democracy relies on informed and active voters. We are committed to engaging and educating voters by providing them with avenues to positively impact our government.

Uplifting Women:

Over 50% of the American population are women. Our representation should be too. We are committed to training women from all walks of life to run for office, to amplify their communities’ voices, and to be role models for future generations.

Holding Public Officials Accountable:

Voters deserve to know how the decisions their leaders make affect them. We are committed to providing timely, accurate information on policy changes.

Our Issues

Healthcare:

The United States spends the most out of any country in the world on healthcare, yet even the most essential healthcare services are still unavailable to many Americans. We need to build a healthcare system that prioritizes our health and well being, not a corporation’s bottom-line. This means reducing the cost of pharmaceuticals, addressing provider shortages, and investing in new medical research geared towards providing more cost-effective care.

Women's Rights and Empowerment:

One of our core values is uplifting women who want to step into leadership positions in government and their communities. This is just one piece of our work to empower women. We are dedicated to supporting all efforts to permanently secure women’s reproductive rights and access. Additionally, we believe that a strong economy is one where women have the same opportunities for recognition, career advancement, and compensation as men. It is time to close the gender opportunity gap.

Voting Rights:

The United States has the lowest voter turnout of any democratic country. This is primarily due to the many barriers to voting that exist in our elections. From politically motivated polling place closures to economic constraints to restrictive voter ID laws, there are many  reasons why someone may be unable to cast their ballot.  We believe that the foundation of a truly representative democracy requires that every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot with ease.

Affordable Housing:

We are in the midst of a national affordable housing shortage, which has held many young families back from achieving long-term financial stability. Home-ownership is a cornerstone of the American Dream, and for the majority of millennials and younger generations, it’s not in reach. We can only guarantee our economic future when our leaders come together to find innovative ways to increase our national housing supply and enable young families to build lasting security for themselves, and thus their communities.

Preserving our Environment:

Taking decisive action on climate change is imperative to guaranteeing both our earth and economy’s future. Investing in clean technology and energy infrastructure and maintaining it will create thousands of permanent jobs, reduce our reliance on foreign resources, and create a healthier environment for everyone. This is a no brainer, and it’s time for our leaders to take action on climate change now.

Strengthening our Economy:

Ensuring that Americans have access to good, high paying jobs is critical to strengthening our economy. Investing in US manufacturing, incentivizing corporations to hire locally, and ensuring that wages keep up with inflation will help create a strong working middle class.
